Excellent hotel for Gore Mtn. ski day

This stay, our first time at a Home2 hotel, far exceeded our expectations, especially for the price. We dealt with 2 different women at the front desk and both were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and quiet, the bed was comfortable, the temperature control was excellent, the toiletries were great, the towels and bedding were high quality and clean. Our only complaints about the room are 1. it seems like the air could be a little more fresh. maybe a fan in the bathroom would help. and 2. the spare pillow had a stain on the cover. The breakfast was excellent with enough variety of hot and cold items, all were delicious. There were 2 hot options (egg and cheese omelets and sausage patties on muffins) plus hot oatmeal, 3 cereals in 3 different levels of sweetness, 3 kinds of fresh fruit of excellent quality (navel oranges, green apples and bananas), a waffle maker, lots of toppings. We had requested a quiet room location on an upper floor due to other reviews we had read, and we got a room on the 4th floor that was extremely quiet even though it faced Rt 87. This will be our future home away from home when we come up to ski at Gore Mtn which is an easy ~40 minute drive away.

We had to make an emergency overnight stop here in a snowstorm on our way to Vermont with 5 people and a small dog. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. It was exactly what we needed and we were so lucky to find this location on our route. We didn't have bathing suits with us, otherwise we would have tried the pool.

I have already booked another stay at this hotel, I a great location, close to the Sports Dome and restaurants. We used the pool it was soooo nice. Beds were so comfortable, and the rooms are very large. Staff were very accommodating. We will have also set up a block of rooms for our sons wedding

This was one of the nicest Home 2 Suites I have ever stayed at. Staff was very friendly, and it was close to everything. Pool was warm and clean. Rooms are large and very comfortable. My family and I will come back again. Oh and so close to the Indoor water park.

My family and I were staying here with a group of families for our daughter’s softball tournament. We were all excited about going away for the weekend to some place new. We arrived and checked-in. When we got upstairs to our room, we were checking out everything and when we got into the bathroom the lights were not working. My daughter and I went downstairs and asked if we could move rooms and the lady stated no because all the rooms were booked. She offered a maintenance guy to come and take a look, but wouldn’t be able to get over until Saturday night. I said there is no point, as we leave the next morning. She said, “well take a couple bags of chips for your inconvenience”. I said no thanks, can you give me a credit toward my bill and she said that she would talk with the manager. To sum up this part, I never received a credit…this was just the start of the 1st day. Next morning, my son had a medical emergency that ended him in the hospital for night. While my son and I were in the hospital, my husband and daughter stayed at the hotel Saturday night. The next day, as my husband and daughter were packing my daughter noticed that her softball blanket was missing. My husband called me as he was leaving the hotel, as they had a softball game to be at and told me what was going on because I was still in the hospital with my son. After I got off the phone with him, I proceeded to call the front desk and ask if they had the blanket, that maybe it got mixed in with the hotel blankets. I spoke with Paige (front desk receptionist) and she said yup we have it. I said okay, would you be able to ship it back to our home and she said absolutely. I gave her my cc information and thought great crisis averted. Well, that is not the case, I have called this hotel 8 times since Jan 7th and have been given excuse after excuse! The last phone call I made was on Feb 2, 2024 and I told them that I would be driving 3+ hours down there to get the blanket. Paige again, told me that it was shipped out a couple of days ago. I had asked her if there was a tracking number, and she stated that FedEx did not give her one. I called FedEx and Shaniqua had told me that any packages picked up would always have a tracking number. I called the hotel back and Paige said again that they did not get a tracking. I asked to speak with the manager Elise, multiple times and was told that she wasn’t in and that she would call me back, that never happened either. Paige said that I could contact Maegan Clothier as she was the area director of sales. I sent an email that Friday, February 2nd to Maegan and have heard nothing. Also, still no blanket!!!There was no empathy from either the front desk nor the manager. I had read the reviews prior to our stay and thought my gosh I’m not sure if we should stay here, but wanted to give it a chance. I am never one to complain, but this is ridiculous. Shame on Hilton for allowing these people to represent your business in this way.
